JESUS' COMFORTING POST TOPIC FOR TODAY
".....remain in me....."
Shortly before Our KING OF GLORY, THE LORD JESUS WOULD GO THE CROSS {JOHN 19:30}, RESURRECTING THE THIRD DAY {LUKE 24:46}, HE COMMANDED HIS Disciples in that Jerusalem Upper Room {LUKE 22:12} to remain in Him and they in He, for without HIM we can do nothing {JOHN 15:5}.
This COMMANDMENT IS ONE OF GREAT COMFORT, In that JESUS PROMISES TO REMAIN IN Us. Because we all Need JESUS, and Love HIM, when life's trials attempt to get in the way of our becoming who CHRIST JESUS HAS ENABLED Us to Become, we need to Hold onto the PROMISES OUTLINED Over our lives IN GOD'S ONLY WORD, Our HOLY BIBLE, Remembering what ALMIGHTY JESUS (HE IS LORD OF All), Our BLESSED LORD AND GOD HAS PROMISED WILL COME TO PASS.
In today's HOLY SPIRIT INSPIRED HOLY BIBLE STUDY VERSE the Beloved Apostle John; the disciple who JESUS Loved, Relates THE IMMUTABLE WORDS OF GOD WHERE HE CALLS HIMSELF THE TRUE VINE. JESUS CALLS HIMSELF THE TRUE VINE, HIS FATHER THE GARDENER, AND we HIS blessed disciples HIS Branches {JOHN 15:1}.
Because a tree's branches can only survive WITH JESUS' HELP, By Remaining on the tree, receiving the sap from the tree trunk to remain vibrant, so it is with us, if we don't remain steadfast in JESUS, Believing HIM, and Acknowledging HIM in Word and Deed, we are like those branches that wither away and are seen as being prepared for the fire {JOHN 15:6}.
Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God; - ROMANS 3:25
So, my "dear friend {3 JOHN 1}", let's be quick to examine ourselves to see if we are in the faith. If we find ourselves drifting, let us prayerfully repent for our drifting, and Ask Our HEAVENLY FATHER to ingraft us again unto JESUS CHRIST, Our HEAVENLY FATHER'S THE VINE, whereby through faith in HIM and HIS SHED BLOOD, we have ETERNAL LIFE. "Dear children, keep yourselves from idols. Amen. {1 JOHN 5:21}" "The grace of the Lord Jesus be with God's people. Amen. {REVELATION 22:21}"
